ITBP: Ready to work across borders?
Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) of Home Ministry of India is going to fill up 20 Group-C posts on temporary basis. These include the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector, Head Constable, Constable (Group-C, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial). Interested candidates should apply online.
There are vacancies for Laboratory Technician, Radiographer, Physiotherapist, Central Sterilization Room Assistant, Telephone Operator cum Receptionist, Dresser, Linen Keeper etc.
1. Assistant Sub-Inspector-12:
Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects, Medical Diploma in Laboratory Technology / Radiodiagnosis / Physiotherapy / Operation Theater Technician. Must have one year work experience.
2. Head Constable-1:
Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects, Central Sterilization Room Assistant should complete Diploma. Must have one year work experience.
3. Constable-7:
Passed 10th class/ equivalent examination. One year working experience as dresser/telephone operator in hospital.
Age Limit:
Not more than 25 years. Three years for OBCs, five years for SCs and STs, three to eight years for ex-servicemen and five years for government employees.
Application Fee:
Rs.100. No fee for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen, Women.
Salary:
Rs.29,900-92,300 per month for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector, Rs.25,500 to 81,100 for the post of Head Constable; 21,700 to 69,100 for the post of Constable.
Selection Process:
In the first stage Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test. In the second stage, written test, trade test, and in the third stage, examination of certificates and medical examination will be conducted.
Physical Standard Test:
Male Height 170 cm, Chest 80-85 cm. should be ST male candidates height 162.5 cm, chest 76-81 cm. should be
Height of women, 157 cm. Height of ST women is 150 cm. should be Weight should be suitable for age and height.
Physical Efficiency Test:
Men have to complete a 1.6 km race in seven and a half minutes. 11 feet long jump and 3.5 feet high jump in three opportunities to reach Women have to complete the 800m race in four and forty-two minutes. Three chances are given for nine feet long jump and three feet high jump. Qualified candidates will be selected for the written test.
Written Test:
Multiple Choice for 100 Marks. General Intelligence and Reasoning in Part-A-10 Questions-10 Marks. General Awareness 10 questions-10 marks. Numerical Aptitude 15 Questions-15 Marks, English/Hindi Comprehension-15 Questions-15 Marks. 50 marks for 50 trade/profession related questions in Part-B. The question paper will be in English and Hindi. Duration is 2 hours. 35 per cent marks for reserved and ST/OBC (NCL) candidates should score 33 per cent minimum marks. No negative marks. In the third stage, practical examination will be conducted after examination of certificates. It is only qualifying test. Final selection will be made on the basis of category wise marks obtained in the written examination.
Preparation:
Practice old question papers of various competitive exams to score in Part-A.
• Writing Mock Tests helps to review the strengths. A timetable should be set and implemented, allocating more time to the backlog items.
• In Par-B only questions related to educational qualifications are given. So revise the main points of the subjects and get a firm grip.
• Answers to unknown questions can be guessed as there are no credit marks.
