Statewide launch as a Diwali gift

Sarkar gave good news to people as part of Super Six scheme in AP.  The free gas cylinder bookings to be implemented by the state government as a Diwali gift has started from today.  In this order, customers lined up for bookings at gas agencies from ten o'clock in the morning.  Through this scheme, three cylinders will be provided free every four months every year.

The first cylinder bookings for the months of November, December, January, February and March have started from today.  The government has decided to deliver cylinders across Andhra Pradesh from 31st of this month.  There are 1.55 crore gas connections in AP.  Sarkar has advised to submit LPG connection, white ration card and Aadhaar card to get this.

Beneficiaries will receive a brief message on their phones that the cylinder booking has been registered.  The government has already negotiated with HPCIL, Indian Oil and Bharat Petroleum companies to provide gas cylinders within 48 hours of booking.  The cash will be deposited into the accounts of the eligible beneficiaries within 48 hours from the moment the cylinder is provided.  On the other hand, the state government has already given orders to provide Rs.895 crores to the oil companies.  Civil Supplies Department will provide this cash under DBT system.

It is possible to get the first free gas cylinder from October 31 to March 31, 2025.  In the second phase from April 1 to July 30, in the third phase from August 1 to November 31, the fourth phase from December 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.  The government estimates that the three free gas cylinder scheme will cost Rs 2,684 crore.  Arrangements have been made to provide cylinders within 24 hours in towns and within 48 hours in rural areas.

Chandrababu to start the scheme tomorrow:

1.40 crore people will be benefited through this scheme.  CM Chandrababu decided to implement this scheme as per the promise given in the election despite financial difficulties.  He will personally deliver the first cylinder in Srikakulam district on Wednesday.
